Numpty The Numbat
Numpty The Numbat, is also known as a banded anteater. Native to Australia, this small endangered marsupial has a long sticky tongue that allows him to pick up ants & termites. It is estimated that there are only about 1000 numbats left due to habitat loss and predators like foxes and feral cats.
Numpty measures 500mm x 350mm (total frame size is 664 x 514mm) and comes in a custom-made solid timber frame that has been both v nailed and glued for extra strength. The glass is "Art Glass" which has 99% UV protection and the matboard is museum grade.
The artwork comes signed (bottom right - photo was taken before signing) and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The mediums used were soft pastels on Pastemat Paper. The artwork comes framed in a solid timber frame and is ready to hang.
